About Oneworld Multimedia
Oneworld Multimedia is the working name for showcasing the work of Onnik Krikorian, a journalist and photographer from the United Kingdom now living and working in the Republic of Armenia as well as the surrounding region.
This site has been online since Krikorian returned from documenting the ceasefire in the disputed mainly Armenian-inhabited territory of Nagorno Karabagh in 1994 and covering the Kurds in Turkey until 1997. Existing under different URLs, the site moved to its own domain name in 2001. Krikorian has worked contracts for The Bristol Evening Post, The Independent, The Economist, Institute for War & Peace Reporting, EurasiaNet, Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso and Hetq Online.

Journalism
OneWorld Multimedia specializes in covering issues and stories from a human perspective, in particular dealing with themes such as transition, poverty, national minorities, culture and conflict. He is also the Armenia correspondent for Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso.
On commission and/or contract, Krikorian has been published by Geographical, Institute for War & Peace Reporting, BBC Azeri, New Internationalist, UNICEF, Hetq Online, The Armenian Weekly, World Press Review, Transitions Online, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, EurasiaNet, Red Pepper, Middle East Insight, Dawn, Kurdistan Report, Oneworld and by the Gemini News Service and Great Reporter.
Fixing
Oneworld Multimedia regularly fixes in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh for a number of major international media organizations including the BBC, Al Jazeera English, The Wall Street Journal and The National. Krikorian also assisted Thomas de Waal during research for his book, Black Garden: Armenia and Azerbaijan through Peace and War.
Translation
Oneworld Multimedia can also offer professional translation services for visiting journalists, analysts and academics in the Republic Armenia. Oneworld Multimedia's translator has worked for visiting journalists from New Internationalist and the International Center for Journalists. She has also translated for the BBC, Al Jazeera English, The National, World Bank, UNICEF, Hetq Online and the Caucasus Journalists Network.

New Media
Oneworld Multimedia specializes in the use of new and social media and is currently working on a personal project using blogs and online tools in the area of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict transformation. Onnik Krikorian is also the Caucasus editor for Global Voices Online. Oneworld Multimedia also has a separate blog here. Krikorian has trained in this area as well as presented on new/social media in the South Caucasus at many international conferences.

Oneworld Multimedia has over 10 years experience in designing and implementing websites for a variety of clients from multi-nationals to human rights organizations.
In particular, Oneworld Multimedia specializes in the design and implementation of web sites for non-governmental organizations. It has been involved in the creation of such web sites on an individual basis and also working with UK-based web design agencies.
Clients have included the Kurdish Human Rights Project, The Armenian Weekly, British Telecom, Glaxo Wellcome, Marks & Spencer, Peugeot, Reed Business Publications and Sony Entertainment.
